This was recently confirmed in an independent 120-page report, entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conferenceboard.ca\/documents.aspx?did=2352\" target=\"_blank\">City Magnets<\/a>, released by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conferenceboard.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Conference Board of Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The report, which analyzed what attracts skilled workers and mobile populations to Canadian cities, ranked 41 different societal indicators including health, economy, environment, education, innovation and housing.<\/p>\n<p>Richmond Hill was statistically identified as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/business\/article\/750523--measuring-what-makes-a-city-great\" target=\"_blank\">great place to live, work and play<\/a> because of its solid economic performance, diverse and well-educated workforce, low crime rates and attractive quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>When completed, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vivanext.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">vivaNext<\/a> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.york.ca\/default.htm\" target=\"_blank\">York Region<\/a>\u2019s plan for the next generation of rapid transit \u2013 will make Richmond Hill an even better place to live. In addition to making it faster and easier to travel to, from and within the Region, vivaNext will inspire urban transformation as new residents come to live, work, shop and play in close proximity to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vivanext.com\/info\" target=\"_blank\">great transit service<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In total, only six Canadian cities received a grade \u2018A\u2019 in the report.
